• Pre-filter
• Activated carbon filter for odors*
• HEPA filter

Replacement is suggested every one to two years for the filter, depending on pollution levels.

The life of the filter may sometimes be extended a little by vacuuming the dust off the exposed pre-filter.

3-Stage Filter

* The activated carbon odor filter cannot be seen, since it is between the pre-filter and the HEPA filter. The activated carbon produces a slight burnt smell at first. After a few days or weeks, this manufacturing odor goes away; however, the odor may be eliminated almost immediately by using the Sanitizer (ozone levels) button.
