Pandemics & Epidemics: Be Prepared with Germicidal Ultraviolet-C. NO pathogen* can withstand UV-C from the Air Probe Sanitizer.™

Plan Ahead.
The Air Probe Sanitizer Whole-House Ultraviolet-C
Germicidal disinfection system Fights germs.
Scientists believe that a contributing factor to the prevalence of the flu in wintertime is reduced ultraviolet-C (UV-C) rays in winter. The deadly H5N1 bird flu virus matches the seasonal peak for common human influenza viruses. |

Q:
How can
UV-C rays kill viruses and bacteria? A: 1. Either by direct destruction or the alteration of the organism's DNA or RNA. Either way ensures a halt to the pathogen's* ability to reproduce and infect. 2. Hydroxyls generated by the UV-C lamps continue to kill pathogens in the air even if they are not exposed to the germicidal ultraviolet rays.
Q: Is the Air Probe Sanitizer really that effective? A: Yes. The special UV lamps can render airborne pathogens* –that
can make a person very sick– completely harmless
(see above Q&A) so that you are not infected.
Q: How can I optimize the air disinfecting germ-killing effect?A: 1. Keep the air flowing past the Air Probe Sanitizer so that the UV has every chance to be at optimum benefit. This will also ensure that disinfecting hydroxyls are present in the environment. If you don't want to leave your fan on high, or you don't already have a factory variable-speed fan motor, then we offer an excellent product: the FanHandler™, that quietly and economically keeps the air gently flowing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 2. If the inside of the duct or air handler in the vicinity of the UV lamps is not already lined with something that reflects UV-C, then line it with some thin reflective duct liner or thin uncoated aluminum sheeting. (Cover the corners and seams with aluminum foil tape.) This will cause the UV-C rays to reflect and bounce around, rather than be absorbed by non-reflective insulation, etc. and generate more hydroxyl ions.
*Pathogens: Bacteria, Viruses, Germs, etc. They are effectively rendered harmless by the Air Probe Sanitizer in a properly installed and operating system.

Q: Where can the Air Probe Sanitizer be installed? A: In almost any
home or commercial
building (large or small) that has heating and/or air conditioning ducts.
Q: Will the Air Probe Sanitizer prevent AIDS? A: No. Since the HIV virus is transmitted through blood transfusions or other body fluids through person-to-person contact, no air purifier, including any ultraviolet radiation, can ever prevent AIDS.
Q: If someone infected with a disease walks into my house and sneezes in my face (maybe while I'm inhaling deeply), will the Air Probe Sanitizer™ keep me from catching it even then? A: Of course, in that situation, the answer is no. There is no such thing as an invisible, impenetrable barrier between you and every germ. Another person who coughs or shakes hands can be the immediate culprit who spreads a particular disease before it ever has a chance to become airborne and pass through the ducts in a central heat or air conditioner system past the UV lights (or destroyed by hydroxyl ions generated by the UV light). See the other Q & A here to see that it still can be very effective.
